Empty Words

He wipes the tears from her eyes
She's cried before but he's never seen it till now
She doesn't talk-Keeps it inside her head, Hidden
They can't see her heart's been breaking for

So many years now
So many thoughts inside her head -Thats full of the things she's never said
So many "i'm sorry's" - It's all she ever says anymore
So many empty words, said to her, it's not fair
No one to talk to until now
and she can't figure out how

the pain she feels runs deeper than all of that
She'd talk if she could. Tell all she feels

But she can't get through, all the walls she's put up
